Deandre Butler, President and Owner, SAPM
Mr. Butler leads his team with a BS degree in Criminal Justice, with more than 17 years of combined experience in security and investigative services including 4 years as an Army Ranger. He is licensed as a Private Detective and Security Contractor in the state of Illinois. His vast range of experience and expertise in all facets of Security and Investigations has enabled him to assemble a first-rate team of security experts.
Mr. Butler is focused on driving the company's security and detective services which extend throughout the Lake County area crossing into Cook County and many other states. His business philosophy is to provide his clients with the latest technology and quality products coupled with customized and personalized security service.

With many years of experience, Mr. Butler is committed in training his staff. He has provided security expertise as a consultant to property management companies, the focus of his company is to being the development of strategic plans for his clients' security and safety needs.
Captain Marvin Garrett
Marvin Garrett holds the rank of Captain with Safety and Protection Management Inc. and has been employed with SAPM since March of 2004. Captain Garrett has over 20 years of experience in the security field. Captain Garrett’s extensive experience in the security industry includes industrial, corporate, power plants, retail, high schools, and housing complexes. Through his years of training and experience Captain Garrett became a police officer in September of 1999 with the Great Lakes Illinois Police Department. Captain Garret held the rank of patrolman until August of 2002 when he was detailed to Criminal Investigations where he investigated Domestic Violence cases. In January 2003 Captain Garrett was promoted to the permanent position of Detective and currently investigates a variety of general criminal cases. Captain Garrett is an asset to SAPM bringing tactical experience as well as legal knowledge which he incorporates when dealing with new employees. SAPM is fortunate to have an employee so well versed in the field of security and law enforcement.
